Job summary

ARYAN SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Control-M administrator to maintain and improve an enterprise scheduling environment in Singapore. You will work with application, infrastructure and vendor teams to ensure platform availability, resolve incidents and enhance automation.

The role requires participation in a 24x7 support model, including shift rotations and on-call duties, with emphasis on reliability and disaster recovery readiness.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Control-M administration and enterprise scheduling.
• Practical administration of Control-M Enterprise Manager, Servers and Agents.
• Experience with Control-M upgrades, patching, migrations and HA/DR concepts.
• Knowledge of the Control-M Automation API and integrating APIs.

Responsibilities

• Administer Control-M Enterprise Manager, Servers and Agents, including configuration and security.
• Monitor server health, connectivity and service availability; manage calendars, alerts and escalations.
• Plan upgrades, patches and migrations with validation of compatibility issues.
• Improve performance, capacity and disaster recovery readiness.
• Develop automation workflows using Ansible, Terraform, Python and shell scripts.
• Provide L2/L3 support and root-cause analysis for recurring incidents.

Permanent role based in Singapore. This position requires participation in a 24x7 support model, including shift rotations, on call duties and major incident response.

Role Overview

Take responsibility for the reliability, maintenance and improvement of an enterprise Control-M scheduling environment. Work with application, infrastructure and vendor teams to maintain platform availability, resolve incidents and improve automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer Control-M Enterprise Manager, Servers and Agents, including platform configuration, security settings and operational controls.
• Monitor server health, agent connectivity and service availability. Maintain calendars, resources, alerts, notifications and escalation settings.
• Plan and carry out upgrades, patches, hotfixes and migrations, including validation and resolution of compatibility issues.
• Improve performance and capacity, investigate platform faults and support high availability, disaster recovery and failover arrangements.
• Maintain integrations with enterprise applications, monitoring platforms, observability services and IT service management tools.
• Diagnose connectivity, API, authentication, authorisation, configuration and integration service problems.
• Validate integrations after upgrades or configuration changes and coordinate technical resolution across application, infrastructure, security and network teams.
• Develop reusable automation workflows, playbooks and scripts using Ansible and/or Terraform, Python, PowerShell and Linux/Unix shell scripting.
• Apply infrastructure as code and source control practices to improve consistency and reduce manual administration.
• Provide L2/L3 support, conduct root cause analysis and implement lasting fixes for recurring incidents.
• Follow change and release processes, contribute to service improvement and participate in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises.
• Maintain operating procedures, architecture diagrams, configuration baselines and support documentation. Coordinate product issues and escalations with BMC Support.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Control-M administration, platform support, automation and enterprise scheduling.
• Practical administration of Control-M Enterprise Manager, Servers and Agents.
• Experience with Control-M upgrades, patching, migrations and high availability/disaster recovery concepts.
• Knowledge of the Control-M Automation API and experience supporting integrations and troubleshooting APIs.
• Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform, together with scripting in Python, PowerShell and Linux/Unix shell.
• Linux/Unix administration, incident management and strong technical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting production services operating 24x7, including shifts, on call rotations and critical recovery activities.
