The ideal candidate holds a QS/engineering degree with strong M&E contract experience, and can drive procurement, variations, and final accounts while managing risks and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong Quantity Surveying and contracts experience in construction.
• Extensive experience managing M&E / building services commercial packages.
• Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and contractual management of M&E / Building Services packages.
• Manage contract administration, budgets, cost control and reporting.
• Administer M&E subcontracts, variations, claims, progress payments and final accounts.
• Oversee procurement, tender evaluation, negotiation and award of M&E subcontract packages.
• Monitor commercial performance and identify risks.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and project teams on commercial matters.

Working Week: 5 Days (Monday–Friday)
Salary: SGD 9,500 - SGD 12,500 (Highly Negotiable)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a leading A1 Main Contractor delivering major building construction projects across Singapore. We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager (M&E) to lead the commercial and contractual management of Mechanical & Electrical / Building Services works across large-scale developments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead commercial and contractual management of M&E / Building Services packages.
• Manage contract administration, project budgets, cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Administer M&E subcontracts, variations, claims, progress payments and final accounts.
• Manage procurement, tender evaluation, negotiation and award of M&E subcontract packages.
• Monitor commercial performance and identify contractual and financial risks.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, project teams and M&E subcontractors on commercial matters.
• Lead and provide guidance to Quantity Surveyors and commercial team members.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong Quantity Surveying / Contracts experience within the construction industry.
• Strong experience managing M&E / Building Services commercial packages.
• Main Contractor experience will be highly advantageous.
• Experience on large-scale building developments will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, variations, claims, cost control, subcontract management and final accounts.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
