Our client is a reputable A1 main contractor with an established track record in delivering large-scale building projects across Singapore. They are looking for an experienced M&E Manager to oversee the coordination and delivery of Mechanical & Electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong construction project experience who enjoy working closely with consultants, clients and subcontractors to ensure quality, timely delivery and successful project execution.
Lead and coordinate all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works across construction projects.
Manage site coordination among consultants, clients, subcontractors and internal project teams.
Chair M&E coordination meetings and drive timely resolution of technical and site issues.
Review and evaluate M&E shop drawings, technical submissions and subcontractor proposals.
Monitor subcontractor progress, workmanship and compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports on M&E works and highlight potential project risks.
Identify design discrepancies, technical issues and propose practical solutions to minimise project delays.
Advise the Project Manager on any changes that may impact project cost, programme or design.
Support the Tender Department by reviewing M&E scope, evaluating subcontractor quotations and providing technical recommendations.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
5-10 years of relevant experience with a main contractor or building construction company.
Proven experience managing M&E coordination for building construction projects.
Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction methodology and site coordination.
Experience working closely with consultants, owners, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, tender documents and project specifications.
Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
