Job summary

Banen Associates, partnering with a leading A1 Main Contractor delivering major building projects across Singapore, is seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to join a growing commercial team handling residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. You will manage contract administration, cost control and final accounts, while preparing budgets, tender submissions and contractual documentation.

The opportunity offers strong remuneration, AWS, up to 3 months bonus, OT paid, medical and dental

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience in cost control, contract administration and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract administration, variations and overall commercial activities.
• Prepare budgets, cost estimates, tender submissions and contract docs.
• Control project costs, supervise subcontract administration, progress claims and final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractors' payment claims and variations.
• Prepare variation orders and final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on contracts.
• Support procurement and administration of subcontract packages.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a leading A1 Main Contractor delivering major building construction projects across Singapore. With multiple newly awarded projects and continued expansion, we are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to join a growing commercial team offering excellent long-term career progression.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage contract administration, variation works and commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, tender submissions and contractual documentation.
• Manage project cost control, subcontract administration, progress claims and final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractors' payment claims and variation submissions.
• Prepare and submit variation orders, progress claims and final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
• Support procurement and administration of subcontract packages.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or a related discipline.
• Relevant Quantity Surveying experience within the building construction industry.
• Experience with a Main Contractor will be highly advantageous.
• Experience on Residential, Commercial, Mixed-Use or other large-scale building developments will be advantageous but is not essential.
• Good knowledge of contract administration, cost control, variations, subcontract management and final accounts.
• Strong commercial awareness with good communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
