Job summary

OM Materials (S) Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, is a trading arm handling contracts and shipping for the group. The Contract Specialist drafts and reviews import/export agreements, coordinates with stakeholders, and ensures complete documentation and compliance across contracts.

You will liaise with Finance on Letters of Credit, maintain contract records, and support audits. Strong English and Chinese communication, plus MS Office proficiency, are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration or Logistics & Supply Chain or higher.
• 1–2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, contract administration, or related field.
• Sound knowledge of import/export contract management and Letters of Credit preferred.
• Self-driven team player with strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and coordinate standard commodity import and export contracts, agreements, and amendments.
• Work with internal stakeholders to facilitate timely contract reviews, approvals, and execution.
• Ensure contract documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
• Track key contract milestones, obligations, and compliance requirements with follow-up actions.
• Maintain accurate contract records and reporting within contract management systems.
• Support audits by providing relevant contract documentation and information.
• Liaise with the Finance Department on the issuance and administration of Letters of Credit.
• Contribute to smooth management of shipping and contractual processes.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.
