Job summary

RRecruiter is seeking a senior contracts manager to oversee procurement planning, tenders, evaluation and contract awards within a construction context in Singapore. You will supervise contract administration, compliance and risk management while guiding the Quantity Surveying team.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in contract law, commercial principles and Singapore construction regulations, with strong negotiation and drafting skills to resolve disputes and optimize project

• Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and manage EOT, loss and expense and variation claims.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow, costs and financial reporting.
• Provide contractual advice and lead dispute resolution.
• Lead, guide and mentor the Quantity Surveying team.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 15 years of contracts management experience in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of standard construction contracts, including PSSCOC and/or LTA Conditions of Contract (LTACOC)
• Sound understanding of contract law, commercial principles, procurement and Singapore construction regulations
• Strong analytical, drafting, negotiation and problem-solving skills
