Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Contract Manager to safeguard contractual rights and oversee commercial aspects of projects. You will review contracts, assess risks, and manage variation control and EOT claims, ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder coordination.

With 5–10 years of relevant experience, you will mentor junior staff and drive risk mitigation while aligning with company policies and procedures for smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Project Management/Construction Management or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 5-10 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractual compliance and safeguard the company’s contractual rights.
• Manage costs and risks to enhance commercial performance.
• Support management of all contractual and commercial aspects of projects.
• Review and interpret contract documents, identify risks, and monitor compliance.
• Assist in preparing and negotiating variation, progress, and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Maintain a variation control system and support resolution of contract-related issues.
• Provide contractual guidance to project teams and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, clients, and subcontractors to implement contract requirements.
• Support dispute avoidance and risk mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior contract staff in contract administration and commercial negotiations.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, project procedures, and contractual obligations.
• Contribute to smooth project execution by supporting decision-making and communication between stakeholders.
