Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) in Singapore seeks a Contract Manager for a project-based role. The position is based at the Changi office, with a 5.5-day work week and alternate Saturday full day.

Role involves coordinating tender responses, contract administration, and progress payment claims, with exposure to overseas clients and sub-contractors. Candidates should have 5+ years in civil works and QS/Contracts background.

Qualifications

• Candidates with QS or Contracts background is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in Civil Works.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and assist managing director in responding to requests for quotation from local and overseas clients.
• Manage and coordinate preparation of pre-tender documentation and tender clarifications.
• Prepare contract documents for control and implementation of contract administration and reviews of commercial aspects with clients & sub-contractors.
• Assist Project Managers in preparation of monthly progress payments and ensure successful claims.
• Attend site meetings with project staff as required.
• Assist in preparation of variation orders and maintain records of changes and design amendments.
• Liaise with main contractor and client QS on claims and finalization of accounts.
• Prepare budgets and cash flow projections with directors and financial controllers.
• Assist negotiation of sub-contractor packages and preparation of sub-contractor/supplier agreements.

Work Location: Changi, office at (Lavender area)

Working days: 5.5 days 8am to 5pm, Alternate Saturday Full Day

Salary: $9000 to $12000 (depends on experience)

Requirements

• Candidates with QS or Contracts background is advantageous.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

Job scope

• Liaise and assist managing director in responding to request for quotation from prospective clients both local and overseas
• Manage and coordinate preparation of pre-tender documentation and response to tender clarifications and amendments involved and attends tender meetings leading to award of tenders.
• Prepare contract documents for control and implementation of contract administration and reviews commercial aspects of contract and agreement with clients & sub-contractors
• Assist the Project Managers in preparation of monthly progress payment and ensure successful claim of progress payment
• Attend site meetings with project staff as and when required
• Assist project managers in preparation of variation order and keep comprehensive record on work alteration and design amendment etc
• Liaise closely with main contractor and Client's Q/S in regard to claims and negotiation of claims and finalization of account
• Prepare budgets and cash flow projection in conjunction with directors, project managers and financial controller
• Assist in negotiation of sub-contractors packages and preparation of sub-contractor or supplier agreement letters
• Analyse scope of work in project and contract for effective contract administration in conjunction with interpretation of architectural and shop drawings
• Liaise with financial controller and in conjunction with project managers control
• Monitor project cost and prepare general financial administration
• Report example cost history for contract negotiation and budget
