Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in Singapore is seeking a Contract Logistics Distribution Specialist to join our distribution team. You will support efficient operations and help achieve financial and operational objectives, coordinating with warehouse teams and ensuring adherence to safety and processes.

You will contribute to KPI delivery, cost management, productivity and customer service while supporting onboarding, retention and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in distribution or transport.
• Strong background in managing large-scale distribution or transport networks (national or cross-border preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with warehouse teams, ensuring an efficient handover of products with a high focus on safety.
• Assist in achieving KPI in cost management, productivity, customer service and profit.
• Deliver against customer and operational KPI.
• Support activities relating to customer onboarding, retention and operational excellence; collaborating with others as required.
• Actively support new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement to meet or exceed productivity targets.
• Contribute information for reporting and performance management.

You will be a key member of the distribution team supporting the efficient operation of our distribution business in order to achieve all agreed financial + operational objectives. The activities needed to deliver these objectives include:

• To work closely with warehouse teams, ensuring an efficient handover of products + accurate process adherence with a high focus on safety.
• To assist in achieving our key performance indicators (KPI) in the areas of cost management, productivity, customer service + profit.
• To deliver against our customer + operational KPI.
• To support all activities relating to customer on-boarding, retention + operational excellence; collaborating with others as required.
• To actively support new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement at all times, ensuring you meet or exceed productivity targets.
• To contribute information when required for reporting + performance management.
