Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Singapore invites a seasoned Operations Optimization professional to lead the national Air Logistics optimization agenda. You will coordinate across departments, validate solutions, and drive system usage to improve service delivery and reduce costs.

The role requires PM experience, strong communication, and ability to steer complex initiatives. You will partner with global teams, influence operational standards, and contribute to continuous improvement in a dynamic logistics

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Air Logistics services, operations, and industry best practices.
• Strong proficiency in Kuehne+Nagel Air Logistics systems SALOG, BPA, CareLOG.
• Solid understanding of air freight carrier and supplier relationships.
• Proven project management experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with a positive can-do attitude.
• Strong change management mindset with a passion for process improvement.
• High attention to detail, performance-driven, and capable of working effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ownership and management of Operations Optimization Projects and Initiatives in the country.
• Contribution to concept definition and design collaboration with the Global Operations Optimization Team.
• Operational validation and engagement with Operations Managers (CCL, OCC, RCC etc.).
• Implementation and success management of operational solutions and system usage.
• Acting as the interface for the MA-OM as well as MA-IS Teams into the country organization, particularly for support and test case definition.
• Driving and improving processes in collaboration with the KNGS.

The purpose of the National Air Logistics Operations Optimization Management is to optimize and harmonise the way of working in the national Air Logistics Operations by implementing practical solutions in a combination of processes, systems, KNGS and any other suitable method. The primary focus is on the initiatives and projects with a positive impact on the Air Logistics Service Delivery and/or Operational Production Cost.

How you create impact

Regularly and frequently visit all operational departments (CCL/OCC/RCC etc.) and sit with the staff to review operational workflows and do hands‑on improvements. Implementing practical solutions in the Air Logistics Operations that is optimizing the way of working in alignment with global standards and consistency. Practical, operational solutions can be any combination of processes, systems (incl. eTouch), KNGS and any other method that is solving our business problems. Work closely CCL, OCC and RCC Managers.
