• Lead and manage a team of Operational Care Specialists responsible for the end-to-end execution of air freight shipments while ensuring compliance with operational, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive operational excellence through performance management, coaching, process optimization, and proactive issue resolution while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and productivity.
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational matters and collaborate with Customer Care, Gateway, Warehouse, Customs, Finance, and overseas KN offices to ensure seamless execution of customer shipments.

How you create impact

Operational / Tactical Duties

• Lead daily execution of import, export, and cross-trade airfreight shipments while ensuring service and KPI compliance.
• Monitor shipment exceptions, operational risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation, customs compliance, carrier performance, and adherence to KN standards and SOPs.

Leadership Responsibility

• Lead, coach, and develop Operational Care Specialists to achieve team performance goals.
• Conduct performance reviews, workforce planning, and manage operational coverage.
• Drive employee engagement, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and talent development initiatives.

Customer / Commercial Responsibility

• Deliver excellent customer service through proactive shipment management and communication.
• Manage customer escalations, complaints, and support service improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders while supporting retention and growth objectives.

Financial Responsibility

• Ensure accurate cost management, invoice validation, and compliance with financial controls.
• Monitor productivity and drive cost-efficient operations while supporting revenue protection.
• Minimize financial risks related to service failures, claims, and compliance issues.

Strategic Responsibility

• Support Operational Excellence, standardization, automation, and digitalization initiatives.
• Analyze operational performance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies.
• Contribute to business growth, transformation projects, and execution of operational strategies.

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Air Logistics Operations, with at least 1-2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of airfreight import, export, cross-trade operations, customs requirements, and shipment documentation.
• Proven leadership skills with experience coaching teams, managing performance, and driving operational excellence.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
