Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a technically-minded Sales Engineer to drive business with contractors, consultants and developers in the construction sector. You will combine product knowledge with a consultative approach to match solutions to project needs, secure specifications, and win tenders.

You will build relationships, present technical briefs, prepare proposals, and coordinate with internal teams to meet timelines.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in engineering, building, construction, business, or related disciplines.
1–2 years of sales experience in construction materials, engineering products, or related fields.
Interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Promote and market products to contractors, consultants, architects, developers and stakeholders.
Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships.
Secure product specifications and approvals through engagement with consultants and engineers.
Conduct product presentations, technical briefings, and demonstrations.
Understand project requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
Prepare quotations, proposals, tender submissions, and supporting docs.
Monitor pipelines, follow up on enquiries, and coordinate with internal teams.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall growth.
Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity.
Attend site visits, meetings, and industry events as required.
