Job summary

LITEC ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned civil/structural engineer to oversee project execution on-site in Singapore.

The role emphasizes independent work, meticulous record-keeping, and coordination across multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering with at least five years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving ability, and proficiency in Revit and Tekla.

Qualifications

• Requires degree or postgraduate master’s in Engineering (Civil or Structural) recognised by PE/ SIT/ NUS/ NTU/ SUTD or approved institution.
• Minimum 5 years of project environment experience with at least one completed project.
• Ability to work independently and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Superior knowledge of civil, structural, or architectural engineering plans, drawings, specifications and schematics for mechanical and plumbing trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inspection records of works, materials and all completed works.
• Track variations and contract cost impacts; report to the Project Director.
• Implement cost control measures to meet project budget.
• Coordinate site activities with all concerned parties and resolve site issues.
• Plan and schedule construction operations according to the Project Management Plan.
• Liaise with consultants on design analysis, design checks and on-site technical issues.

Requirements

• Degree or postgraduate master's in Engineering (Civil or Structural)or related field recognised by Professional Engineers (Approved Qualifications)/ Singapore Institute of Technology. / National University of Singapore, theNanyang Technological University / the Singapore University of Technology andDesign/ Commissioner-specified/Resident Engineer-accepted institution.
• Minimum 5 years of project environment experience,with at least completed one project as track record.
• Able to work independently and possess good problem-solving skill.
• Superior civil, structural, or architectural engineering working knowledge of plans, engineering drawings, specifications and schematics associated with the mechanical and plumbing trades
• Computer literacy. Significant experience with Excel, Word,and other computer based tools additionally software system knowledge (REVIT /TEKLA)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Site inspection for civil work, which includes excavation,structural, casting and ensure that the work is executed as per the project specification and construction drawing/final approved drawing from authorities.
• Ensure worker carried out meet out quality standards and contractual requirements.
