Job summary

ID CRAFT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is hiring an Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager to support the Project Director in day-to-day operations for commercial fit-out projects.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality, and safety on site. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Project Management/Construction/ME, 2–5 years of related experience, and strong communication skills in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Project Management, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
• 2–5 years of project experience in interior fit-out or construction.
• Proactive, responsible, meticulous with a strong sense of urgency.
• Able to read and understand detailed drawings and construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Director on execution of projects and reporting status weekly or as required.
• Involve in tender processes and interviews if required.
• Coordinate with internal staff and drive projects professionally.
• Coordinate with external sub-contractors, vendors and 3rd parties.
• Attend weekly/site meetings and manage safety/compliance matters.
• Prepare weekly progress, incident, and safety reports.
• Ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Ensure work aligns with approved plans, drawings, specs and regulations.
• Monitor progress and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Identify and report issues and manage client expectations.

Roles and responsibilities

We are an interior fit-out company and currently hiring for a highly responsible and independent Assistant Project Manager/ Project Manager as part of our team. He/ she will be assisting the Project Director in day-to-day operation for projects.

Job Description

• Assist the Project Director on execution of projects and reporting the status in daily or weekly depending on project requirements.
• Involvement in tender process and interview if required.
• Coordinate with internal staff and drive the project appropriately and professionally.
• Coordinate with external sub-con, vendors and other related 3rd parties to execute the project from start to completion.
• Conduct or attend all weekly and site meeting.
• Responsible for all construction site matters including but not limited to safety and other compliance matters.
• Prepare and submit weekly progress report, incident report and safety report.
• Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope of works and budget.
• Ensure project is executed in accordance to approved plans/ drawings/ specifications, contract specifications and regulations. .
• Monitor site progress and ensure construction timeline are met.
• Maintain a comprehensive project documentation within company shared folder.
• Identify and report any issue arise.
• Manage client's expectations and maintain good relationships with clients.

Job Qualifications/ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Project Management/ Construction/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 5 years of related works experience.
• Strong in communication, presentation, negotiation, coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Able to read and understand detailed drawings and construction plans.
• Proactive, responsible, meticulous and a strong sense of urgency attitude.
• Possess outstanding leadership quality.
• Proven track record.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• He/ she has a good time management and planning skills.
• Good knowledge of basic local authority's requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software i.e., MS power point, excel spreadsheet, Words and Outlook.
• Experience in commercial fit-out will be a plus.

Candidate with better experiences and qualifications will be offered role as Project Manager or even a Senior Project Manager.
