Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Construction Project Director to oversee end-to-end delivery of major projects, from planning through handover, ensuring alignment with time, cost, quality and safety targets.

You will lead senior engineering teams, coordinate with clients, consultants and authorities, manage budgets and risks, and drive safety and sustainability while continuously improving methods and productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience directing large construction projects from planning through handover.
• Ability to lead multi-discipline teams and coordinate with clients, consultants and authorities.
• Strong knowledge of budget, schedule, risk and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the overall execution of construction projects from planning through completion and handover.
• Establish project strategies, policies and procedures to achieve time, cost, quality and safety targets.
• Lead senior project and engineering teams and coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities and subcontractors.
• Oversee contractual matters, tender submissions, project budgets, construction progress and risk management.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved plans, statutory requirements and company quality standards.
• Drive workplace safety, environmental sustainability and green building initiatives.
• Oversee commissioning, final inspections, defect management and project closure.
• Manage team performance, talent development and resource planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve construction methods, adopt new technologies and enhance productivity.
• Report project performance, financial matters and key risks to senior management.
