Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior site engineer/manager to lead on-site engineering, coordinate design and manage technical submissions for ongoing construction projects in Singapore.

You will review drawings, supervise multidisciplinary teams, oversee BIM coordination and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. The role requires extensive leadership and problem-solving to prevent delays and cost overruns.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 12–15 years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or managerial role.
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination, BIM and large-scale construction projects. EA License No: 20C0270

Responsibilities

• Manage site engineering, technical submissions and design coordination to support smooth construction operations.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements and material submissions.
• Coordinate engineering matters among consultants, clients, subcontractors and site teams.
• Monitor RFIs, design changes, technical approvals and construction sequencing.
• Oversee BIM coordination, quality inspections and compliance with project specifications and regulations.
• Provide technical support for construction methods, procurement decisions and site problem-solving.
• Identify technical risks and implement corrective actions to minimise cost overruns, delays and rework.
• Supervise and mentor engineering staff and ensure timely completion of project documentation and handover.
