Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior construction lead to direct project delivery in Singapore. You will set strategic direction, oversee schedules, budgets, and risk, and manage a team of engineers and project managers to ensure performance and client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes compliance with safety, sustainability, and construction legislation, with responsibility for commissioning, handover and defects management, as well as financial forecasting and business development goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction operations and establish strategic direction for project delivery.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and performance standards.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, contractual obligations, quality control and construction risks.
• Manage senior engineers, Project Managers and Construction Managers to ensure effective coordination and performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental sustainability and relevant construction legislation.
• Oversee project commissioning, handover, closure and defects management.
• Manage financial forecasts, resources, staffing and business development objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement through new technologies, sustainable construction methods and operational best practices.
• Monitor organisational performance and implement strategies to improve productivity, cost efficiency and project outcomes.
