Job summary

JIN YA CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented payroll and accounts support professional in Singapore.

You will process salaries, allowances, and deductions, manage statutory submissions, and handle leave claims for a diverse workforce in the construction sector. The role requires independence, strong knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations, and experience with payroll systems such as MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Able to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of payroll, CPF, and tax regulations in Singapore is preferred.
• Experience in construction industry (payroll by trade/project costing) is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with payroll systems and accounting software (e.g. MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and process payroll for all employees in a timely manner, including computation of salaries, allowances, deductions, and statutory submissions
• Manage employee leave claims and liaise with relevant government authorities on maternity and childcare leave
• Handle IRAS matters, including IR21 for resigned foreign employees and IR8A annual submissions for all staff
• Execute AP and AR functions to ensure timely collections, payments, and cash flow management in construction industry
• Review and process employee expense claims in accordance with company policies
• Work pass application, accommodation arrangement, and WP and SP related works in construction industry
• Assist with other administrative and accounting duties as assigned
