Job summary

EUNITED CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore is hiring an accountant to handle daily accounting and bookkeeping, prepare invoices, maintain AP/AR, and assist with GST computations. You will liaise with HR on attendance, payroll, and statutory submissions.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, a Diploma/LCCI or equivalent in Accounting or Finance, and proficiency in Excel. Construction industry exposure is a plus, with attention to detail and independence.

Qualifications

• Diploma/LCCI or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• 1–3 years of relevant Singapore accounts/payroll experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GST, GST F5, payroll, CPF, AP/AR and bank reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare sales invoices, purchase invoices, payment vouchers and receipts.
• Maintain AP/AR records.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding payments.
• Assist with GST computation and GST F5 preparation/filing.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing monthly cash-flow and debtor/creditor reports.
• Process monthly payroll, including basic salary, overtime, allowances and deductions.
• Prepare payslips and maintain payroll records.
• Assist with CPF and SDL submissions.
• Maintain records for foreign worker levy, insurance and other employee-related payments.
• Coordinate with HR regarding attendance, OT, leave and employee information.
• Liaise with external accountant/auditor and assist with IRAS, CPF and other statutory matters.
• Maintain proper accounting and administrative documentation.
• Support month-end/year-end closing and audit requirements.
• Perform general administrative duties and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
