Job summary

ENGMECH (SINGAPORE) PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Purchaser to source and manage construction materials, equipment, and services for on-site projects in Singapore. You will handle supplier selection, quotations, and purchase orders, ensuring specs and pricing are accurate while maintaining thorough procurement records.

The role requires a Diploma and at least 2 years of procurement experience, with strong MS Office and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma level with 2+ years of procurement experience.
• Familiar with construction materials, suppliers, and procurement requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for construction materials, equipment and services.
• Request and analyse quotations from multiple vendors.
• Manage and process all PRs, POs, DOs, and supplier invoices.
• Verify material specifications, quantities, and pricing before confirming orders.
• Maintain records of procurement transactions.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery to construction sites.
• Coordinate with site engineer and supervisors.
• Communicate with management and contractors on costing estimation.
