Job summary

rs recruitment agency llp is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead oversight of civil infrastructure projects in Singapore, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

You will supervise sub-contractors, review progress and payment claims, and coordinate with management on project documentation.

Applicants must hold PE Board Singapore recognised degree and have at least 5 years of LTA project experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by PE Board Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering/infrastructure project experience (LTA projects).

Responsibilities

• Close monitoring of project activities including work progress and quality adherence to specifications, performance of sub-contractors’ manpower requirement and to ensure proper recording and documentation of site works in the most efficient cost-effective ways.
• Stringent checks on safety and quality during planning and implantation stages.
• Check progress claims from consultants/contractors to ensure payments are in order according to the terms of appointment; prepare periodical progress reports and attend meetings required by senior management.
• Continuous grooming on potential site personnel to take on more responsible tasks.
• Make every effort to preserve an atmosphere of harmonious understanding and cooperation between all parties engaged on the works.
• Render assistance to other departments within the company or group on matters pertaining to the project; comply with Quality, Safety & Health and Environment requirements.
• Any other duties assigned by Management.

Job description

• Continuous grooming on potential site personnel to take on more responsible tasks.
• Make every effort to preserve an atmosphere of harmonious understanding and cooperation between all parties engaged on the works.
• Render assistance whenever possible to other departments in the company or companies within the group on matters pertaining to the project he is involved in which may not relevant to his specific duties.
• Any other duties that may assigned from time to time by Management. To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the company.

Requirements:
