Job summary

daewoo-dongah joint venture seeks a highly experienced Resident Engineer for an MRT civil project in Singapore. Candidates must have 20+ years in engineering, with a recognised Civil Engineering degree and 10+ years leading construction teams on major civil works.

The role requires experience with MRT works, D-wall/top-down methods, and overseeing traffic diversions in urban environments. Willingness to commit until project completion is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of engineering experience.
• At least 10 years of experience managing construction teams for major civil projects.
• Experience with MRT projects, D-wall and Top-down underground stations.
• Singapore civil projects with contract value of at least SGD 950 million.
• Experience in planning and overseeing LTA civil projects.
• Experience in planning and managing traffic and utility diversions in urban areas.
• Willing to commit to project until completion.

Job Description & Requirements:

Minimum 20 years of engineering experience with Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer or Recognised Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the Engineer, and at least 10 years of experience in managing construction teams for major civil projects of similar scale and complexity as below.

1. MRT project with D-wall and Top-down underground station in Singapore or overseas
2. Experience in Singapore’s civil project with a minimum contract value of $950 million
3. Minimum 3 years continuative experience in major civil project
4. Experience in planning, managing and overseeing LTA’s civil projects
5. Experience in planning and managing massive traffic & utility diversions in urban area.

• Candidates who are willing to commit their involvement in the assigned project until the successful completion of project would be an advantage.
