THE SINGAPORE CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION LIMITED is seeking an Industry Development Manager to advocate for industry needs and drive growth and transformation in the construction sector. You will engage with government agencies, partners and SCAL members to identify issues and shape policy directions.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning and excellent communication to inspire the team and advance industry development initiatives.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified candidate with at least 5–8 years in industry development or trade associations.
Experience liaising with government agencies and industry stakeholders.
Strong English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead advocacy efforts with government agencies, partners and SCAL members.
Manage strategic industry projects, events and initiatives.
Set strategic direction for the team and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Engage member companies to identify business needs and gather feedback.
Liaise with government, partners and SCAL members for effective dialogue.
Oversee planning and organization of Committee meetings and industry dialogues.
Conduct research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Oversee industry communications and reporting.
