Job summary

Ocean IFM Pte Ltd is seeking a Facilities/Building Manager to oversee daily operations of the building and supervise site staff. You will conduct routine inspections, ensure service providers meet contract specs, and handle emergencies.

You will also manage records, attend meetings, track payments and arrears, and prepare budgets. A degree in property/real estate, M&E experience, and 5+ years of relevant work are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Property Development/Real Estate Management or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of Building Maintenance & Strata Management Act.
• M&E experience would be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Able to lead and work together in a team.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for the day to day operation of the building and the supervision of the site staff (if any).
• Conduct routine inspections on all building services, equipment and facilities.
• Ensure all service providers are performing up to the specification of contracts.
• Attend to emergency service breakdown.
• Attend to enquiries and feedback.
• Ensure all contracts, insurance, certificates and licenses are renewed before expiry.
• Coordinate and attend Council Meetings and AGMS, including preparation of notices, agenda and documents, as well as recording of the minutes.
• Manage and maintain proper records and files of correspondences and documents.
• Monitor payments and manage the recovery of arrears.
• Liaise with solicitors on recovering of arrears and other matters.
• Preparing of Budget for Management and Sinking Fund.
