Job summary

South Central Community Family Service Centre is seeking a Social Worker to join our team in Singapore. The role focuses on delivering community-centric social work practice, supporting vulnerable individuals and families through targeted interventions, home visits, and case management.

You will collaborate with community members, conduct assessments, build safety plans, and connect families to resources to promote social mobility and well-being.

Qualifications

• Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Knowledge/experience with social work interventions and policies; interest in community development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Community Centric Social Work Practice across five domains, including case engagement and assessments.
• Manage information/referral duties, intake assessments, and maintain confidential records.
• Conduct safety and risk assessments and develop safety plans for families.
• Empower community members and mobilize assets to support well-being.
• Support social mobility by connecting families with resources and services.
