Job summary

SSVP Ltd in Singapore is seeking a committed Social Worker to support individuals and families, working with volunteers and community partners.

The role involves case management, volunteer guidance, programme development, and research into current trends. The successful candidate will have a recognized social work degree and 1–3 years’ experience, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work is required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Singapore’s social service sector.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s social service landscape and available community resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management including assessment, care planning, intervention and review.
• Support individuals and families facing financial, psychosocial and other complex challenges.
• Collaborate with social service agencies and community partners to coordinate appropriate support.
• Maintain proper case documentation and uphold professional ethics and practice standards.
• Guide and equip SSVP volunteers in their engagement with individuals and families in need.
• Assist in the development and implementation of programmes and data collection for continuous improvement.
• Keep abreast of current research and trends and support action research activities.
