Job summary

Morgan McKinley Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Social Worker to facilitate change and improve lives through casework and counselling for individuals, families and communities facing transitional challenges.

You will conduct psycho-social assessments, plan community outreach, provide information and referrals, and contribute to research and reporting to support intervention programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work or Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Accredited as Registered Social Worker would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct casework management, including gathering information, psycho-social assessment, identifying needs and intervention goals.
• Provide case work and counselling to clients.
• Plan, organise and implement community outreach activities, programmes and group work.
• Perform evaluation and prepare reports for administrative investigations and intervention programmes.
• Provide information and referral services to link clients to appropriate social services.
• Participate in research.

Other Information

Relevant Experience:

• Accredited as Registered Social Worker with Singapore Association of Social Workers would be an advantage
• Prior experience as a social worker would be an advantage
• Trained in Asset based community development (ABCD) would be an advantage
