Job summary

SASCO Senior Citizens' Home in Singapore seeks a Community Engagement Officer to coordinate volunteers and stakeholders across our sheltered home, senior care centres, active ageing centres, and community settings. You will plan and run senior-focused events, support the Community Engagement department with ad-hoc tasks, and contribute to active ageing initiatives and community engagement efforts.

Evening and weekend availability is required, with duties primarily Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm at Choa

Qualifications

• University degree required.
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel for presentations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of managing stakeholders at various levels.
• Resourceful and able to work independently and collaboratively with volunteers and community leaders.
• Must be able to work on weekday evenings and weekends.
• Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience in volunteer/stakeholder management or in the social service/eldercare sector.

The jobholder is primarily responsible for managing volunteers and stakeholders, coordinating their involvement across our sheltered home, senior care centres, active ageing centres, and with seniors living in the community. The role includes planning and executing senior-centric events and activities to promote active ageing and community engagement.
