Job summary

Spectrum Audio Visual Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on AV Engineer to join the Commissioning Team in Singapore. You will configure, test and commission integrated AV and video conferencing systems, ensuring delivery meets project requirements and company standards.

Candidates with experience in AV control systems are welcome to apply. You will review schematics, coordinate with designers and manufacturers, program AV control systems and DSPs, and provide end-user training and after-sales support.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in IT, Engineering, Audio Visual or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in AV system configuration, testing and commissioning.
• Good understanding of AV system integration and the ability to read and interpret AV schematic drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Perform system configuration, testing and commissioning of integrated AV and video conferencing solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal system performance and functionality
• Review AV schematic drawings and technical documentation to understand system design and implementation requirements
• Work closely with AV Designers, Project Engineers and manufacturers to integrate and commission AV solutions across various project environments
• Configure and program AV control systems and Digital Signal Processors (DSP), where applicable to technical specialisation
• Conduct system demonstrations and provide end-user training on the operation of installed AV solutions
• Provide technical support for after-sales services team and system troubleshooting when required

We are looking for a hands-on and technically driven AV Engineer to join our Commissioning Team. You will be responsible for the configuration, testing and commissioning of integrated Audio Visual (AV) and video conferencing systems, ensuring solutions are delivered in accordance with project requirements and company standards.

• Hands-on experience with AV products and solutions from brands such as Crestron, Extron, Bose, Samsung, Poly, Logitech, Cisco or equivalent.

• Relevant industry certifications such as Crestron CTI, Extron Control Professional, Dante Level 1/2/3, Q-SYS or Cisco CCNA
