Job summary

Spectrum Audio Visual Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Commissioning Team Lead to manage the AV Commissioning Team, oversee project delivery, provide technical guidance and drive continuous improvement in commissioning standards.

You will lead the team, plan commissioning schedules, collaborate with project managers and engineers, and ensure high-quality handovers. Strong knowledge of AV control systems and DSP programming is required, with hands-on leadership to grow capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in IT, Engineering, Audio Visual or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in AV system integration, testing and commissioning.
• Hands-on experience in AV control system and/or DSP programming.
• Experience in team supervision, resource coordination or technical project management.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Commissioning Team, ensuring effective manpower allocation, workload distribution and team performance.
• Provide coaching, identify competency gaps and facilitate technical training to keep the team abreast of evolving AV technologies and best practices.
• Plan and oversee commissioning schedules, resources and project progress to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers and other stakeholders to resolve project issues and ensure smooth execution.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions for complex AV system integration, programming and commissioning issues.

• Establish and improve commissioning procedures, technical standards and best practices to enhance team efficiency and performance.

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Team Lead to manage our AV Commissioning Team, oversee project delivery, provide technical guidance and drive continuous improvement in team capabilities and commissioning standards.

Candidates with strong expertise in Audio, Video or AV Control Systems, coupled with the ability to lead and develop a technical team, are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

1) Management & Development

• Lead and manage the Commissioning Team, ensuring effective manpower allocation, workload distribution and team performance

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in IT, Engineering, Audio Visual or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in AV system integration, testing and commissioning, with a strong understanding of Audio, Video and Control Systems.
• Hands-on experience in AV control system and/or DSP programming, with the ability to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support.
• Experience in team supervision, resource coordination or technical project management.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple project priorities.

Added Advantages

• Experience in AV control system programming and/or DSP programming
• Hands-on experience with AV products and solutions from brands such as Crestron, Extron, Bosch, Q-SYS, Samsung, HP Poly, Logitech, Cisco or equivalent
• Relevant industry certifications such as Crestron CTI, Extron Control Professional, Dante Level 1/2/3, Q-SYS or Cisco CCNA
