Job summary

TALENT SPOT GROUP PRIVATE LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer (AV & UC System) to support multiple project sites across Singapore and the region, with strong diagnostics in AV systems and a solid grasp of UC platforms.

You will perform post-installation support, remote/onsite diagnostics, firmware updates, and service reporting, while coordinating with vendors and end users. Strong communication with Chinese partners is valued.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in AV / Electronics / IT / Electrical or related discipline.
• Min 1-2 years of experience in operation, engineering and/or installation/maintenance of AV systems.
• Preferably to have general knowledge of AV products (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Crestron, Extron, Kramer, Polycom, Cisco Telepresence, Logitech, Biamp and QSYS).
• Knowledge of AV & IT technologies (TCP/IP, Networking, Dante, AVB, SDVOE, H.264, H.323, MPEG, EDID, HDCP).
• Ability to communicate effectively with Chinese business partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sale maintenance experience to customers.
• Plan, schedule and execute preventive maintenance with customers to ensure system reliability and take ownership in executing corrective actions upon client approval.
• Perform remote/onsite diagnostics to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve existing or potential faults within AV and VC integrated systems
• Provide post-installation support such as remote/onsite technical assistance, firmware updates, and/or configuration changes.
• Coordinate with end users, product suppliers and vendors to resolve technical product issues promptly and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA). E.g. RMA process.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and well-documented service reports following every maintenance or troubleshooting engagement.
• Identify, indicate, and assist in changes accrued to schematics, BOM list, and other relevant materials discovered during site evaluations.
• Evaluate the severity and risk of technical challenges, escalating to manufacturers or principals when issues exceed internal capacity.
• Support post-commissioning activities such as end-user trainings, material development, documenting accurately on handover and taking over of functioning systems.
