Job summary

TikTok Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced AV/IT Specialist to support its APAC operations.

You will leadAV system design, deployment, and maintenance for regional events and daily operations, ensuring high availability, sound quality, and reliable collaboration tools across sites. Responsibilities include evaluating and deploying SaaS video conferencing, coordinating with vendors, and driving standardized AV workflows to improve efficiency and user experience across TikTok's global platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of professional AV design, handover, maintenance and operations.
• Experience with SaaS platforms (Zoom, Lark, Google Meet) video conferencing and Audinate DDM interoperability.
• Proficiency with acoustic measurement tools (ITU-BS.1770, AES, SMPTE) and monitoring software (QLab, Dante Controller, Shure W Instrument).
• Hands-on experience with acoustic testing software (Smaart, Systune, REW).
• Familiarity with major AV brands (Audinate/Extron/Crestron/Biamp/QSC/Shure/Sennheiser/Sony/Logitech).
• CTS or equivalent AV certifications are preferred.

Team Introduction Our IT Technical Services team is dedicated to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient technology solutions that empower employees across the business. • 1. Enhance AV Operations with independancy to develop visualization of AV operation and maintenance metrics using BI tools & dashboards, identifying issues, improving operational efficiency, and enabling proactive issue detection and boosting operational efficiency with preventive metrics.
• 2. Lead regional deployment of new AV technologies across APAC, ensuring consistent implementation and performance across multiple countries.
• 3. Perform risk assessments and develop scalable, stable technical solutions to maintain robust audio-visual system performance.
• 4. Streamline AV workflows by optimizing and automating processes, standardizing troubleshooting protocols, and refining issue escalation procedures; partnered with vendors to align maintenance within TikTok's global standards.
• 5. Excel in cross-functional collaboration, managing multiple projects concurrently while coordinating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 2. At least 4 years of professional experience in audio-visual system design, handover, maintenance, and operations.
• 3. Proven experience with SaaS platform(Zoom, Lark, GoogleMeet, etc.) video conferencing operations and Audinate DDM operations interoperability during live events. Exemplify experience with deployment, operating and supporting with these cross-interoptability with at least 3 years of hands-on in deployment.
• 4. Demonstrated experience applying audio quality and level standards (e.g., ITU-R BS.1770, AES, SMPTE) using professional measurement and monitoring tools (e.g., QLab, Dante Controller, Shure Wireless Workbench, or similar) for both in-room and far-end platforms. Minimally, with 5 years experience of performing testing & commissioning, working with key stakeholders to support troubleshooting & resolution methodologies.
• 5. Proficiency in using acoustic testing software, like Smaart, Systune, REW and/or in similar equivalent tools with at least 4 years of experience.
• 6. Familiar with leading & established brands in the audio and video industry, including but not limited to Audinate/Extron/Crestron/Biamp/QSC/Shure/Sennheiser/Sony/Logitech, etc.
• 7. Holds advanced audio-visual certifications such as CTS or equivalent certifications from recognized brands like Audinate, Extron, Crestron, Biamp, QSC, Shure, Sennheiser, Sony, Logitech, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1. Successfully managed the operation and maintenance of over 500 conference rooms for large-scale MNC companies, ensuring seamless functionality.
• 2. Proficient in AV automation tools and concepts, with hands-on experience using PJlink Protocol, SSH, HID, and Zabbix to streamline operations.
• 3. Extensive experience in the global planning and deployment of audio-visual system infrastructures, ensuring consistency and high performance across multiple regions.
• 4. In-depth knowledge of program and UI design using Crestron, Extron, and AMX, and showcase expertise in designing guidelines for optimal user experience.
• 5. Proven ability to plan, construct, and optimize audio-visual systems globally, enhancing efficiency and system reliability through continuous improvements.
