Qualifications

• Basic kitchen or cooking experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Good hygiene and teamwork.
• Able to stand for long hours and handle physical kitchen work.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation and cooking
• Prepare ingredients including cutting, portioning, marinating, and basic cooking
• Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
• Support the Chef/Sous Chef during service and production
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations
• Ensure food is stored, labelled, and handled properly
• Check stock levels and inform supervisors when ingredients are running low
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs
• Assist with packing and preparation for catering, events, or deliveries when required
