Job summary

INITIA GROUP in Singapore is seeking a Commis / Kitchen Assistant to support kitchen operations and ensure smooth service delivery. You will work with experienced cooks to prepare food and maintain strict hygiene and safety standards.

The role offers part-time rate of $13 - $18 per hour with 5 days a week, 54 hours, and 2 days off. Prior experience and hygiene certification are preferred; team-oriented and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of kitchen or food-related experience.
• Hygiene course certification or equivalent.
• Able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with cold dish preparation or ingredient handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and seasoning ingredients.
• Ensure food items are stored at appropriate temperatures to maintain food safety standards.
• Safely operate kitchen appliances such as blenders, ovens, and grills.
• Keep food preparation areas clean and ensure utensils and equipment are sanitized at the end of each shift.
• Help handle food orders and support special service requests during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
