Job summary

ALL THE GREAT THINGS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a reliable kitchen role to support the Sous Chef and Senior Chef de Parties in daily operations. You will help maintain hygiene, assist with menu preparation, and ensure timely cooking and order accuracy in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Ideal candidates are experienced with cutting tools and cookware, possess excellent communication, and can work well under pressure, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with cutting tools and cookware.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work cohesively with fellow team members as part of a team.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual and presentable at all times.
• Report to and support the Sous Chef / Senior Chef de Parties in their duties in running the kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and prepare menu in accordance with the restaurant's quality standards.
• Assist in inventory control of kitchen supplies and equipment.
• Maintain positive working relationships with Front-of-House members.
• Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas.
• Assist other cooks to ensure food orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Resolve problems with customers’ orders efficiently.
• Store excess food at the correct temperature to avoid spoilage.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
