Job summary

SK CATERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a kitchen team member in Singapore to assist with daily food preparation and cooking across hot and cold dishes.

You will ensure food meets requirements, maintain quality and presentation, and follow sanitation standards in a fast-paced kitchen. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, with a Basic food hygiene certificate preferred. You will collaborate with the kitchen team to support ordering, stocking, and cleaning duties

Qualifications

• Relevant experience will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physically and mentally fit and able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Basic food hygiene certificate.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation for daily orders and menu items.
• Verify that prepared food meets requirements and presentation standards.
• Ensure quality control and presentation of the food served.
• Adhere to safety procedures and sanitation regulations.
• Proper handling and storage of all food items.
• Handle equipment, appliances, supplies, and tools.
• Prepare and cook customer’s food orders as required.
• Prepare hot and cold dishes and meet specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen.
• Comply with mandatory hygiene standards and regulations.
• Assist in ordering with the kitchen in charge and support staff.
• Help with cleaning duties and general duties as assigned by Chef.
