Job summary

AMICI EVENTS & CATERING PTE. LTD. is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation, kitchen operations, and general duties under supervision. You will assist with washing, peeling, cutting, portioning ingredients, packing orders, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided. The role requires physical endurance and the ability to work with a team, including weekends and public holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to perform physical work, including standing, lifting, cleaning, and carrying items.
• Responsible and hardworking, able to follow instructions.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning vegetables and ingredients.
• Assist with food packing, labeling, and preparation of orders.
• Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, worktables, and preparation areas.
• Wash dishes, trays, containers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain general cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen.
• Assist with receiving, moving, and storing ingredients and supplies.
• Dispose of rubbish and maintain waste areas properly.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with general kitchen duties.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.
