Job summary

GMP RECRUITMENT SERVICES (S) PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a procurement and tender specialist with 3+ years in the marine sector. You will cost, source suppliers, prepare proposals, and assist in contract discussions to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business or Engineering required.
• 3+ years' experience in marine industry preferred.
• Knowledge of marine equipment, vessel types, and marine contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive tender documents, prepare cost estimates and cost sheets including materials, labour, and forex.
• Issue RFPs/RFQs, review quotations for compliance and pricing.
• Coordinate tender submissions, assess items, and perform basic risk assessments.
• Support contract discussions, procurement, and post-award project monitoring.
• Support contract management including budget control, invoicing, guarantees, and post-mortem reporting.

Job description

Liaise with clients and brokers to identify new opportunities and manage ongoing relationships.

Receive and review tender documents, prepare detailed cost estimates, and build cost sheets including material, labor, and forex components.

Issue RFPs/RFQs to vendors, clarify technical/commercial details, and review quotations to ensure compliance and competitive pricing.

Coordinate tender submissions, collate internal documents, assess critical items, and perform basic risk assessments to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Assist in contract discussions, procurement, and equipment management, including delivery timelines, milestone payments, and post-award project monitoring.

Support contract management for awarded projects, including budget control, milestone invoicing, guarantees, and post-mortem reporting for completed projects.

Requirement:

Diploma in Business or Engineering with 3+ years' experience in the marine industry technical knowledge of marine equipment, vessel types, contracts, and marine insurance is an advantage.

Skilled in costing, market research, supplier selection, and preparing proposal.
