Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking a procurement professional in Singapore with marine industry experience to manage tender activities and cost estimates.

You will liaise with clients, brokers, and suppliers to ensure timely, compliant tender submissions. Responsibilities include preparing RFPs/RFQs, evaluating bids, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate pricing and robust tender documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Maritime Studies or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of marine industry experience.

Job Description

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and brokers to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Receive and evaluate enquiries and tender documents, reviewing specifications to develop accurate cost estimates based on the standard costing structure.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to equipment and material suppliers, and coordinate technical or commercial clarifications when necessary.
• Assess supplier quotations to ensure compliance with tender specifications while achieving competitive pricing.
• Compile foreign exchange rates, material costs, labour costs, and other relevant inputs to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed costing and pricing proposals for review, approval, and timely submission in accordance with project deadlines.
• Identify critical equipment and system requirements and perform preliminary risk assessments.
• Coordinate and consolidate tender documentation from internal stakeholders, ensuring full compliance with tender requirements and timely submission.
• Support the preparation of tender review reports and cash flow projections where required.
• Participate in contract discussions and commercial negotiations as needed.
• Assist in the procurement and contracting of equipment and materials.
• Foster strong working relationships with clients, brokers, suppliers, and other business partners.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of equipment and project requirements.
• Support post-project evaluations by gathering lessons learned and post-mortem information to improve future project execution.
