Job summary

The GMP Group in Singapore is hiring a Procurement & Tender Analyst to drive costing, pricing, and contract discussions for marine projects. You will manage RFP/RFQ processes, review supplier quotations, and coordinate cross-functional tender documents to ensure on-time, compliant submissions.

With 3+ years in marine costing and strong MS Office skills, you will liaise with clients and brokers and help monitor budgets and cash flows across awarded projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working experience in marine industry.
• Diploma/Degree in Business or Engineering.
• Experience in costing & pricing preparation, matching specs/drawings and supplier selection.
• Commercial sense with contract/purchase agreement knowledge.
• Technical knowledge of marine equipment and materials.
• Knowledge in legal and insurance terms is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

Responsibilities

• Liaise with client/broker for new opportunities.
• Receive enquiries and review tender specs to prepare costing into standard cost structures.
• Prepare and send RFP/RFQ to vendors and arrange for clarifications if required.
• Review vendor quotations to meet tender/spec requirements with competitive pricing.
• Collate forex, material and labor costs for estimate build-up.
• Prepare detailed cost sheets for review, approval and submission on time.
• Identify critical items/systems and perform basic risk assessment.
• Coordinate and collate tender documents from internal parties to ensure on-time, quality submission.
• Assist in tender reviews and cash flow projections if required.
• Assist in contract discussions/negotiations if required.
• Assist in procurement contract of equipment.
• Manage equipment contracts for delivery timeline and milestone payouts.
• Maintain good relationships with clients, brokers and suppliers.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure proper equipment delivery.
• Contract management of awarded projects including budgets, shifts, milestones, and terms.
• Assist in obtaining post-mortem information for completed projects.

• Preparing and sending out of RFP/RFQ to equipment/material vendors and to arrange for technical/commercial clarification, if required.

• Reviewing of equipment vendors’ quotation to meet tender or specification requirements with competitive pricing.

• Collate forex, material and labor costs for estimate build-up.

• Preparation of detailed cost sheet for review, approval and submission according to given timeline.

• Identifying the critical items/ systems and carrying out basic level of risk assessment.
