Job summary

OCBC Group in Singapore is seeking an Analyst for Collections Analytics & Strategy to automate manual tasks using Python, Power Automate, and other tools. The role focuses on process improvements, risk-informed decisioning, and scaling analytics capabilities.

You will support strategy design, conduct delinquency and portfolio trend analyses, build Python analytics scripts, and participate in UAT and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Degree in analytics, data science, statistics, finance, IT or related field.
• Experience in analytics, credit risk or collections in banking is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to automate processes and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify manual and repetitive work and automate it using Python, Power Automate or relevant tools.
• Drive process improvement and re-engineering to improve turnaround time, accuracy and controls.
• Support strategy design and reviews, including segmentation, treatment rules and champion-challenger tests.
• Perform ad hoc analysis on delinquency and portfolio trends and track risk score and model performance.
• Build and maintain analytics scripts in Python, with proper documentation and version control.
• Take part in UAT and system enhancement projects with business and IT to close issues.
• Prepare and maintain regular reports and datasets for portfolio, productivity and capacity monitoring.
• Support regulatory reporting, data quality checks and audit requests.
