Job summary

OCBC Group in Singapore is offering an internship in Global Markets Business Management Unit / System Solution Analytics. You will support front office trading and sales with analytics, automation, and solution development.

Work will involve data analysis, dashboard creation, and project support, using Excel VBA, Python, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau to drive efficiency and decision-making in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
• Strong interest in technology, automation, and financial markets.
• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Front Office Technology Support: assist trading and sales desks with tactical improvements to processes and user experience.
• Process Automation: develop solutions using VBA, Python, AI tools to streamline workflows.
• Data Analytics & Reporting: analyze data and build reports, dashboards, and metrics for decision-making.
• Dashboard Development: create and maintain dashboards using Power BI/Tableau.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: aid in system testing and UAT for new features and fixes.
• Monitoring & Project Support: support monitoring and strategic transformation initiatives.
