Job summary

OCBC Bank Singapore is seeking a Manager, Data Analyst in Group Compliance - Compliance Technology to turn data into actionable insights for regulatory reporting and risk controls. The role blends analytics with business understanding across stakeholders in a hybrid setup.

You will leverage Python, Power BI, SQL and Big Data tools to deliver dashboards, data models and governance aligned with BCBS 239 standards and cross-functional needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience developing data analytics solutions.
• Experience with Python and Power BI for analytics and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data visualization concepts.
• Familiar with AI/ML and NLP concepts in data analysis.
• Ability to work with unstructured data and parallel databases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis and automate data collection, transformation and aggregation to generate analytical reports using Python and/or similar technologies.
• Create and implement interactive dashboards with Power BI for Compliance reporting and data analysis.
• Utilize SQL for data querying and manipulation tasks.
• Work with Big Data platforms, including Starburst.
• Develop and manage data models to meet business requirements.
• Ensure adherence to data governance and regulatory reporting standards such as BCBS 239.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Continuously enhance data processes and workflows.
• Drive and implement Data Analytics in the digital processes.
• Represent Compliance as a Data Steward and contribute to the Bank’s Data Governance initiatives.
• Contribute to Business impact assessments for Compliance and FCC processes for upstream changes.
