Job summary

Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) is seeking a skilled coastal engineering professional to lead planning and project management for coastal protection and related infrastructure on Sentosa Island. You will develop briefs, manage tendering and contract awards, and coordinate with consultants to deliver compliant, safe, and cost-effective solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in coastal engineering, strong GIS and data analysis capabilities, and proven ability to engage stakeholders

Qualifications

Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering; Master’s in Coastal Eng or Hydro-informatics preferred.
Minimum 5 years in coastal engineering.
Proficient in coastal and drainage modelling and GIS; data processing skills.

Responsibilities

Develop project briefs, requirements, and specifications for consultancy, data collection and construction contracts.
Plan, execute and manage the full cycle from brief to award and initiation.
Assess Sentosa environment and propose feasible engineering solutions.
Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to determine implications and costs.
Review and provide engineering inputs to consultants/contractors and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
Manage external consultants for coastal protection, drainage and infrastructure studies and designs.
Conduct on-site inspections to ensure works meet drawings, specs, safety, and quality.
