Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced civil/structural engineer to lead coastal infrastructure design reviews and geotechnical analyses for quay walls, ports, jetties and land reclamation. The role requires a senior professional able to oversee site investigations, tendering and contract administration.

Based in Singapore with global project exposure, you will coordinate with clients, design teams and authorities, ensuring high-quality, compliant deliverables across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil/structural engineering recognized by PEB.
• 10+ years of relevant design and project management experience in a consultancy.
• Experience on marine/infrastructure projects in SEA; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out design review of coastal structures and geotechnical analysis for quay walls, ports, jetties and revetments.
• Assist Project Lead with site investigations, plan reviews, and tender documentation.
• Manage subcontracts and main contracts; liaise with clients and authorities.
• Prepare technical reports and design calculation submissions for approvals.
• Lead meetings and supervise design/site work; ensure regulatory compliance.
