Job summary

Public Service Division seeks an Asst Director/Senior Engineer/Executive Engineer to shape Singapore’s coastline at the Greater Southern Waterfront. Lead coastal protection design and implementation, balancing electrical/ICA considerations with safety and resilience.

The role involves coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, managing contracts, reviewing detailed engineering designs, and engaging stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in marine, coastal, infrastructure or plant projects preferred; graduates may apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review technical specifications/reports for Electrical/ICA scope (66kV/22kV/LT switchgear, transformers, diesel gensets, power cables).
• Support management of Professional Engineering Services and construction works contracts for GSW to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Review engineering designs for compliance with government requirements and evolving tech standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholder agencies and community groups to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Collaborate with consultants/contractors and manage public feedback during project execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
