Job summary

SJ Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Principal Engineer to join the Construction & Management Unit as a Projects Director, delivering major coastal, marine and infrastructure programmes on site.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, advise clients on complex technical and contractual matters, and oversee project performance across safety, quality, cost and schedule, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Minimum ten years of relevant experience in engineering design, construction, project management or delivery.
• Experience leading major projects with multidisciplinary teams and complex construction programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, management, supervision and delivery of major coastal, marine and infrastructure projects.
• Perform senior project leadership roles as Project Director, Senior PM, PM or Design Manager as assigned.
• Provide strategic and technical direction across planning, design, tender and construction stages.
• Oversee safety, quality, cost, programme and contractual requirements.
• Advise clients and teams on technical, construction, commercial and risk matters.
• Manage senior-level relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and government agencies.
