Job summary

UDYOGAH PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced CNC Turner cum Programmer to join our precision machining team. You will program, set up, operate, and inspect CNC turning machines to manufacture Oil & Gas components to exact tolerances.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings and GD&T, editing CNC programmes, selecting tools and parameters, performing first-article checks, and conducting in-process and final inspections. 2–5 years of CNC programming/turning experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification in CNC Machining / Mechanical Engineering / Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience as CNC Turner / CNC Lathe Programmer / CNC Machinist, preferably in Oil & Gas or precision engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of CNC turning machine setup, operation, and programming.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications.
• Good knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, workholding, tooling selection, and machining parameters.
• 2 to 5 years of Experience with CNC programming and editing using relevant machine controls
• Ability to use precision measuring and inspection instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned machining jobs.
• Safety-conscious with a strong focus on quality and productivity.
• This is a hands-on technical position. Candidates who are only experienced in machine operation or basic programme editing will not be suitable. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical judgement, problem-solving ability, precision, ownership, and accountability.
