Job summary

ORICUS SEMICON SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our in-person team in Singapore. The role focuses on writing and modifying turning and milling CNC programs and creating setup sheets using Siemens NX, ensuring alignment with manufacturing goals.

You will troubleshoot programming issues, analyze existing programs for efficiency, and contribute to tooling selection, fixture design, and manufacturability improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years CNC programming experience.
• Minimum 4 years oil and gas industry programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Write and modify turning/milling CNC programs and create setup sheets using Siemens NX.
• Troubleshoot and assist machinists for CNC programming issues.
• Analyze and improve existing programs to increase machining efficiency and adapt to changing requirements.
• Lead tooling purchases and equipment recommendations to support manufacturing.
• Lead defect investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Assess and provide feedback on product design and manufacturability related issues.
• Design fixtures and tools for machining and sub-assembly products.

CNC Programmer

Job Responsibilities:

• To write and modify turning/milling CNC programs and create setup sheet using Siemens NX.

• To troubleshoot and assist machinist for CNC programming issues.

• To analyze, review, and recommend improvement to existing programs to increase machining efficiency and adapt to changing requirements.

• To select and recommend tools purchases and/or new equipment to support product manufacturing.

• To lead with machining defect investigation, root cause analysis and implement correct actions for manufacturing quality issues.

• To assess and provide feedback on product design and manufacturability related issues.

• To design fixture and tools for machining and sub-assembly products.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably with minimum of 6 years CNC machines / Programming experience.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry performing programming work.
