Qualifications

• NTC/Nitec or technical certificate preferred in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Engineering or equivalent; hands-on CNC experience acceptable.
• Preferably 1–3 years in metal machining or oil and gas industries.
• Strong command of CAD/CAM software (Mastercam) and machine controllers.
• Deep understanding of cutting tools, fixtures, and raw materials.
• Be proactive with ownership of daily responsibilities and tasks.
• Good attitude and ability to communicate across departments.
• Ability to multitask to handle demanding schedules.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and optimize CNC machine programs (G-code) for cutting paths.
• Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and GDs to sequence operations.
• Run simulations or trial runs to verify program correctness.
• Diagnose and fix glitches during production and adjust parameters as needed.
• Design simple tools and fixtures to assist machining.
• Monitor production cycle time and cost improvements.
• Maintain storage and archiving of all programs.
• Inspect finished components with calipers and micrometers for specs.
• Guide operators and coordinate with engineering to boost efficiency.
• Collaborate with team to improve productivity and product quality.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

• Interpret engineering drawings, 3Dmodels, and geometric dimensions to determine the proper sequence of operations.
• Run computer simulations or trial runs to verify that programs function correctly without errors.
• Diagnose and debug glitches during production runs, adjusting parameters to fix dimensional non-conformances.
• Design simple tools and fixture to assist the machining process.
• Monitor and improve production cycle time and cost.
• Maintain the storage and archiving of all programs.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure they meet specifications
• Guide machine operators and coordinate with engineering teams to improve production efficiency.

Requirements
